Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm at the Grover Town Hall by Chairman Wayne Staidl. In attendance were: Chairman Wayne Staidl, Supervisor Kim Kittredge, Supervisor Wayne Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Witak, Eugene Bancroft, Buzz Davis, Estelle Boehm, Gordon Klimek, and Shirley Prudhomme-Peshtigo Times.
Motion by Staidl, second by Kittredge to approve the agenda. Carried.
Motion by Hoffman, second by Kittredge to approve the minutes from 8/10. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the treasurer’s report. Carried.
Public Comment:
Buzz noted the lawnmower is again working and signs are getting put up.
Estelle asked if the July board minutes were on the website.
Communications:
The well testing is complete and there is a broken well cap, a new pamphlet from Bay Lakes Regional Planning, Bay Lakes Regional Planning newsletter, Department of Administration population estimate is 1853, a letter from Truck Country concerning leasing was received. Staidl received a letter from the Department of Commerce concerning homeless in our area.
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: We will have a special meeting 9/21 at 7am.
Supervisor I: Kim went to the sign reflectivity meeting today and learned many new things including that white with black signs are more reflective than green street signs.
Supervisor II: The back tire on the brush cutter is being replaced. There was recycling spilling out of the truck-Lisa spoke to Gary about this.
Chairman: Red School Road is fixed very nice by the county.
Garbage/Recycling Coordinator: Lisa is working on the grant application. Garbage collectors are to be putting stickers on if there is a problem and they don’t pick it up.
Zoning Administrator: River Run Road fire signs are now up. There were 3 building permits and 1 fire sign this past month.
Unfinished business: There is some scrap metal by the hall, Wayne Staidl will call Henry Malke for pickup.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to get roads crack sealed by Fahrner Asphalt for $21,652. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve rezoning the Ricky E & Lynn J Vandervest Trust property at SW1/4 SW1/4 S33 T30N R22E to highway commercial. Carrried.
Motion by Staidl, second by Kittredge to approve operators licenses for Heather Dura, Ashley Schwartz, and Samantha Krawczyk. Carried.
Motion by Staidl, second by Kittredge for Wayne Hoffman to attend the WTA meeting in Wausaukee 9/7 and for Wayne Staidl and Kim Kittredge to attend the Coleman Rescue Squad meeting 10/7. Carried.
Next meeting is 10/5 at 6pm.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Staidl to approve vouchers 10702-10731 and to pay Decker Supply, WTA for convention, and the 2 cemeteries for veterans graves. Carried.
Motion to adjourn at 7:25pm by Hoffman, second by Kittredge. Carried.
