October 5, 2009 Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Wayne Staidl at the Grover Town Hall In attendance were: Chairman Wayne Staidl, Supervisor Kim Kittredge, Supervisor Wayne Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Witak, Ed Kasal, Gordon Klimek, Vern Cramer, Naomi Dumke, Shirley Prudhomme-Peshtigo Times, and Larry Sidman-Jones Sign.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the agenda. Carried.
Motion by Hoffman, second by Kittredge to approve the minutes from 9/14 & 9/21. Carried.
Motion by Staidl, second by Kittredge to approve the treasurers report. Carried.
Public Comment
Larry Sidman and Ed Kasal wanted the board to know that the state now says billboards need to be 300’ from the road, not the centerline of a road.
Communications:
The 2010 General Transportation Aid letter was received, Public Service Commission letter regarding adding of an area code, list of county forest land in the town from the DNR, flu clinic schedule, prescription drug collection event, and TRIP info.
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: Lisa is looking at WISLINEs for chief election inspectors.
Supervisor I: Kim has been receiving calls on missing stop signs
Supervisor II: Wayne attended the WTA District Meeting in Wausaukee. Al Brey spoke of needing more DA’s in their office. The county wants to know when roads are newly blacktopped. Jack Clark asked for a board member to remove the cemetery lights for the winter.
Chairman: None
Garbage/Recycling Coordinator: The grant is submitted.
Zoning Administrator: There were 3 building permits this month.
Motion by Staidl, second by Kittredge to put an ad in the Peshtigo Times for a $500 reward for information leading to the conviction of people pulling out stop signs if ok with the WTA. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve an operators license for Rebecca St. Germain. Carried.
The next meeting will be 11/9 at 6pm
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve vouchers 10732-10755 and WPS, mailbox, Maroco, Peshtigo Times and hotel. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to adjourn at 7:30pm. Carried.
