Grover Town Board
November 8, 2011 minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Wayne Staidl. In attendance were: Chairman Wayne Staidl, Supervisor Kim Kittredge, Supervisor Wayne Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Witak, Buzz Davis, Jack Clark, Shirley Prudhomme-Peshtigo Times, and Eugene Bancroft.
Motion to approve the agenda by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion to approve minutes from 10/11/11 by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion to approve the treasurer’s report by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Public Comment:
Communications: logging permit, final population estimate from DOA, e-statements will need to be obtained from the bank
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: WTA Convention report, election laws are becoming more complicated and we will probably need to take over SVRS
Supervisor I: Kim is ordering the no weapons signs for the town hall
Supervisor II: Rescue squad budget will remain the same as last year
Chairperson: WTA Convention report-learned about spring road break up and how to handle some situations
Garbage/Recycling Coordinator: Some garbage was missed-Lisa will be calling the garbage company regarding leaving notes on the things not picked up for a reason
Zoning Administrator: Kim is still working with the owner of the land on Carlson Lane regarding the trailers-he will be getting another letter
Road Crew: The edges of Track lane are peeling off-not a good base under the edge and animals are burrowing under the road. No parking signs are up at the boat landing. Signs are still being vandalized. New blades need to be ordered for the brush cutter and a cylinder needs to be fixed.
Motion to adopt Resolution 2011-02 Adopting Employee Grievance Procedure by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion to approve the election hardware maintenance agreement from Command Central by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion to approve haulers permits for Waste Management and G&S Refuse by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Lisa went over the report from the GAB regarding handicap accessibility. Motion by Kittredge to get needed signage and have employees fix the problems after clarification from GAB, second by Hoffman. Carried
Next meeting December 12, 2011 6pm
Motion to approve vouchers 11510-11528 and St Johns Cemetery, Harmony Cemetery, and USPS by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion to adjourn at 6:50pm by Hoffman, second by Kittredge. Carried
