Town of Grover
March 9, 2010 minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm at the Grover Town Hall by Chairman Wayne Staidl. In attendance were: Chairman Wayne Staidl, Supervisor Kim Kittredge, Supervisor Wayne Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Witak, Buzz Davis, Eugene Bancroft, Jack Clark, Ed Kasal, Vern Cramer, Naomi Dumke, Carlton Warnecke, Gordon Klimek, Karl Stibbe, and Shirley Prudhomme-Peshtigo Times.
Motion to approve the agenda by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve 2/9/10 minutes. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the treasurer’s report. Carried.
Communications: Rescue squad certification, DOT letter regarding highway road transfer, letter from John Nygren regarding our resolution sent to him, Weyers sale letter, DNR letter regarding MFL lands, Kagen letter about grants, WPS asphalt meeting.
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: There is an election 4/6/10
Supervisor II: There was a complaint of dips on Little River Road
Zoning Administrator: There was 1 building permit and 1 new home permit issued
Road Crew: 1 yield sign is up at Eagle Express and the other will be up soon
No other officer reports
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to purchase 7 road weight limit signs. Carried.
Motion by Hoffman, second by Kittredge to get estimates for construction on Track Lane, Behnke School Road, Reif Road, and Tower Hill Road. Carried.
Motion by Staidl, second by Hoffman to approve hauler permits for Waste Management and G&S Refuse. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to purchase a laptop from UES Computers. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve an operator’s license for Denis Janka. Carried.
Motion by Staidl, second by Hoffman for Wayne Hoffman, Wayne Staidl, and Kim Kittredge to attend the WTA unit meeting 3/16. Carried.
Next meeting 4/13/10 6pm Regular meeting 7pm Annual meeting
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve vouchers 10888-10922 and Decker Supply and Sean Winters. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to adjourn at 7:15pm. Carried.
