Town of Grover
January 16, 2012 minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm at the Grover Town Hall by Chairperson Wayne Staidl. In attendance were: Chairperson Wayne Staidl, Supervisor Kim Kittredge, Supervisor Wayne Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Witak, Vern Cramer, Naomi Dumke, Dawn Rost, Craig Rost, Lud Richter, Karl Stibbe, Buzz Davis, Eugene Frank, Dave Zahn-Peshtigo Times.
Motion to approve the agenda by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion to approve the minutes from 12/11/11 by Hoffman, second by Kittredge. Carried
Motion to approve the treasurer’s report by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Public Comment:
Communications: Open Government and Parliamentary Procedure Wislines, Christmas Card from Scott Construction and Dan Risner Excavating, Notice of 2012 transportation aid payment, Thank you from ERS, Calendar from WI Towns Association, logging permits, letter from GAB about accessibility
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: New tables are needed for the town hall-Lisa will have Becky Charapata look into purchasing some
Supervisor I: None
Supervisor II: Culvert on Prestine Road and County B seems to be sinking, the culvert appears to be in good shape
Chairperson: There were some complaints about garbage and the way it is charged and how it can be done better.
Garbage/Recycling Coordinator: Garbage stickers and schedules were mailed out. Complaints were received about bins being broken by the recycling person and G & S will be refunding the person for their bin.
Zoning Administrator: 2 building permits
Road Crew: A couple signs were put up, but everything is pretty quiet.
Motion to approve hauler’s permit for Veolia by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Eugene Frank of Eagle Express, Craig Rost of Joker Fireworks, and Dawn Rost of Joker Fireworks addressed the board regarding fireworks sales.
Next meeting 2/13 6pm
Motion to approve vouchers 11557-11578 plus Cramer Excavating by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion to adjourn at 6:40pm by Hoffman, second by Kittredge. Carried
