Town of Grover
February 9, 2010 minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:05pm at the Grover Town Hall by Chairperson Wayne Staidl. In attendance were: Chairperson Wayne Staidl, Supervisor Kim Kittredge, Supervisor Wayne Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Witak, Buzz Davis, Ed Kasal, and Dave Thibodeau-Peshtigo Times.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the agenda. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the 1/20/10 minutes. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the treasurer’s report. Carried.
Public Comment: Buzz Davis asked about the sign problem and pending court case.
Communications: Letter from WPS about rebate, an email received from a resident in thanks for the quick response to snowplowing, letter from Dept of Revenue that they received our resolution on countywide assessment, logging permits, assessment technology letter, Saunier letter that he will pick up tires/junk
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: None
Supervisor I: None
Supervisor II: Wayne put bump/dip signs on the problem culvert on Townline Road.
Chairman: None
Garbage/Recycling Coordinator: The recycling truck was broke 2 pickups ago so Gary used a garbage truck which is why residents thought garbage was going with recycling.
Zoning Administrator: No permits issued
Constable: None
Road Crew: None
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to put up 2 yield signs one on each side of the driveway at Eagle Express as Eugene Frank gave permission. Carried.
Discussion was held on the farmland preservation changes and its effects. This will be looked into.
Next meeting March 9, 2010 6pm
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve vouchers 10866-10884 and Cramer Excavating, post office, Marinette County for dog licenses and tax settlements. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to adjourn at 7:15pm. Carried.
