December 13, 2010 Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Wayne Staidl. In attendance were: Chairman Wayne Staidl, Supervisor Kim Kittredge, Supervisor Wayne Hoffman, Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Witak, Naomi Dumke, Dale Holtz, Shirley Prudhomme-Peshtigo Times, Eugene Bancroft, Monica Halverson, Eugene Frank, Ron Cudnohoski, Buzz Davis, Johnny Haynes, Billy Ellis, and Leonard Dura.
Motion to approve the agenda by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion to approve 11/8/10 minutes by Hoffman, second by Kittredge. Carried
Motion to approve the treasurer’s report by Hoffman, second by Kittredge. Carried
Public Comment:
Johnny Haynes and Billy Ellis read apology letters to the town board for the theft of signs.
Communications: Christmas card from NLS, donation request from Crivitz Rescue Squad, Sequoia voting machines has been bought out by Dominion, Urban Towns Committee annual dues request, affidavit of publication from Jones Sign, Omni Associates retroreflectivity requirement letter
Wayne Staidl received a letter from the census
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: Tax bills will be mailed this week.
Supervisor I: Kim checked on a complaint of excessive mud on the road from the field on Town Hall & Townline Road, Judy Weed had a concern about snowplowing on Bridge Road, Kim checked on a complaint of excessive junk in a yard in Harmony, the Behnke School Road ditch issue is still being worked out.
Supervisor II: Darren Story of Northeast Asphalt spoke with Wayne regarding the invoice for Track Lane-we need a breakdown on cost.
Chairperson: Several snowplowing calls were received.
Garbage/Recycling Coordinator: Stickers will be out the last week in December or first week in January.
Zoning Administrator: 2 building permits this month.
Road Crew: Roads are in pretty good shape. More road signs will be replaced.
Motion by Staidl, second by Hoffman to pay a deputy clerk $10 per hour. Carried
Motion by Hoffman, second by Kittredge to approve Resolution 2010-02 allowing snowmobiles to use Koronkiewicz Lane and cross the highway at that intersection and opening the fence on the opposite side of the highway which will be closed in spring. Carried
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the 2011 budget as presented at the budget hearing. Carried
Motion to approve operator’s license for Bonnie Fox and Heidi Zielke by Kittredge, second by Hoffman. Carried
Motion by Kittredge to approve Hoffman and Staidl to attend the WTA district unit meeting in Wausaukee 12/16. Carried
Next meeting January 10, 2011 6pm Grover Town Hall
Motion by Hoffman, second by Kittredge to approve vouchers 11182-11209 and add Decker Supply and Cramer Excavating. Carried
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to adjourn at 7:20pm. Carried
