August 9, 2010 minutes

The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Wayne Staidl. In attendance were: Wayne Staidl-chairman, Kim Kittredge-Supervisor, Wayne Hoffman-Supervisor, Lisa Witak-Clerk/Treasurer, Amos Fairchild, Carlton Warnecke, Ed Kasal, Gordon Klimek, Larry Sidman-Jones Sign, Aaron Sidman, and Dave Thibodeau-Peshtigo Times.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the agenda. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the7/12/10 minutes. Carried.
Motion by Hoffman, second by Kittredge to approve the treasurer’s report. Carried.

Public Comment: Buzz Davis asked about the Little River Park-the board is checking with the 4H club. Ed Kasal asked about Track Lane.
Communications: Letters were received regarding first dollar credit, shared revenue, amended TRIP letter, and the DNR wants to know if we will participate in a gypsy moth program at our cost.
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: Lisa reported on the clerk institute she attended in July in Green Bay.
Supervisor I: Marinette County said that Cramer’s gravel pit is grandfathered and the batch plant they check once per year.
Supervisor II: The culverts are in and Dan Risner took a stone out of Homestead Road. Wayne Hoffman attended the DOT meeting regarding County M work.
Chairperson: Staidl spoke to the DOT regarding crack filling on Vernon Hills Drive and widening the shoulder on Kasal Lane. A complaint was received regarding the cement block for a sign at Northpoint and on the grass length at the park.
Garbage/Recycling Coordinator: Lisa started working on the grant.
Zoning Administrator: There were 4 fire numbers, 6 building permits, and 1 driveway permit this month.
Road Crew: Buzz reported that he needs 10 dead end signs, 12 stop signs, and 10 stop ahead signs. Some roads have grass growing in the cracks-he is making a list.

There are no culverts that need to be done yet this year, but some do need grader patches.
Motion by Hoffman, second by Kittredge to allow the City of Peshtigo to put a Welcome to Peshtigo sign on the Huss property provided the town is not held liable. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to sell the old lawnmower to Amos Fairchild for $100. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to set the permit fee for billboards at $200 with any additional state or inspection feeds to be paid by the applicant. Carried.
Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve the operator’s license for Ashley Schwartz pending the payment. Carried.

Next meeting 9/13/10 at 6pm

Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to approve vouchers 11055-11075 plus Buzz Davis and Decker Supply. Hold the Northeast Asphalt payment until further clarification. Carried.

Motion by Kittredge, second by Hoffman to adjourn at 7:20pm. Carried.
