April 16, 2013 Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Wayne Staidl. In attendance were: Chairman Wayne Staidl, Supervisor Kim Kittredge, Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Witak, Brian Stujenske, David Zahn, Mary Staidl, Buzz Davis, Pete Cramer, Naomi Dumke, Lud Richter, and Tom Kuchta.
Motion to approve the agenda by Kittredge, second by Staidl. Carried
Motion to approve the 3/11/13 minutes by Kittredge, second by Staidl. Carried
Motion to approve treasurer’s report by Kittredge, second by Staidl. Carried
Public Comment:
Joker Fireworks store has rubbish laying around
Communications:
Recycling Grant Award letter, voting machine warranty expiration, Transportation aid letter, logging permits
Officer Reports:
Clerk/Treasurer: April 2, 2013 election went well.
Supervisor I: Blue Ribbon Casino will be demolished.
Supervisor II: None
Chairperson: Wayne attended a meeting on culverts & bridges. The recommendation was to not use poly culverts.
Garbage/Recycling Coordinator: The recycling annual report has been submitted. The DNR wants to see much more education and work to increase numbers/amount of recycling. Press releases, brochures, and website information are some things that will be utilized.
Zoning Administrator: 1 building permit was issued. Heavy hauling road signs are in. The cemetery is 332’ X 264’ in size.
Road Crew: Several signs have been knocked down and are put back up.
Motion to appoint Wayne Hoffman to the plan commission by Staidl, second by Kittredge. Carried
Motion to appoint Jeff Fischer as a member and Buzz Davis as an alternate to the zoning appeals board by Staidl, second by Kittredge. Carried
Motion to appoint Carlon Strutz, Tim Kamm, and Rob Hanneman to the fire commission by Kittredge, second by Staidl. Carried
Board of review adjournment meeting will be 5/13/13 at 5:45pm
Motion to purchase new forced air heater and have it installed from Lemke Heating paying ½ down with remainder due upon completion and approval by board by Kittredge, second by Staidl. Carried
Motion to approve operator license for Jesse Arnold by Kittredge, second by Staidl. Carried
Motion for Wayne Hoffman to attend the WTA Unit meeting 4/18/13 at Wausaukee if able and Wayne Staidl for culvert meeting 4/12/13 and for Hoffman, Kittredge, and Staidl to the Town Officials Workshop if able by Kittredge, second by Staidl. Carried
Next meeting 5/13 6pm with Board of Review adjournment at 5:45pm
Motion by Kittredge, second by Staidl to approve vouchers 12027-12062 plus Buzz Davis, Lee’s Family Foods, Centurylink, Decker Supply, Cramer Excavating (2 invoices) and Lemke Heating. Carried
Motion to adjourn at 6:42pm by Kittredge, second by Staidl. Carried
